Punts:

Gareth McAuley – the top scoring defender in the game, scoring three goals home and away. The veteran centre-back first plays Manchester United at Old Trafford but the Arsenal game showed West Brom will not sit back against the top teams and use set-pieces to their advantage. A goal and/or clean sheet could follow at Vicarage Road against mediocre Watford, who the Baggies beat 3-1 at home last year, which included two set-piece goals.

Gylfi Sigurdsson – the most shots on target for a midfielder, scoring four goals home and away, plays a Middlesbrough side who are struggling to score and his old club Tottenham Hotspur at the Liberty. The fact he is the sole set-piece taker teases an assist every game, and surely every player would love to score against the team that sold them off. With a point to prove and in the best season of his career, without doubt one to watch!

Christian Eriksen – the most chances created for a midfielder, with the joint most assists he plays Burnley and Swansea on his travels, two teams in the bottom half of the table plus two teams Spurs have already beat at home. Tottenham are second in the league for a reason and with their favourable schedule their winning ways look set to continue. If they score you can almost guarantee the Dane will be involved somehow, with Harry Kane injured, top scoring midfielder Alli looks the best bet to hit the back of the net too.

Alexis Sanchez – deservedly the best player in the game, currently the most points, assists and chances created for a striker. Arsenal host top four rivals Manchester City and West Ham United, a team they thrashed 5-1 away from home earlier in the season. The Gunners are not in the best of form however if one player can change it all around its the Chilean superstar Sanchez, more points are likely for him, another hat-trick against the Hammers?!
